We Work With You And Your Insurance Provider

At James A.H. Tauberg, D.M.D. Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery we make every effort to provide you with the finest care and the most convenient financial options. As a specialist, Dr. Tauberg takes extra steps to provide a higher level of care than you may find at offices that are limited by restrictions imposed by insurance companies. That does not mean other providers do not provide quality care, it simply means insurance does not dictate time spent with a patient or the products used that are limited by insurance coverage or reimbursement. This gives Dr. Tauberg the freedom to thoroughly diagnose and explain treatment procedures as well as use products that he has used for many years and can expect consistent outcomes for treatment

Although we are not contracted with any insurance companies, insurance benefits can be used at the office. We work with all PPO insurances (not HMO or DHMO) that have out-of-network benefits on the policy. Though our staff is knowledgeable and can answer most insurance questions, the contract is between you and your insurance company. Please refer to them directly with any questions on plan acceptance and coverage. We do not participate with any Medicaid/Medicare plans.

Payment is expected in full on the day of service, and we will submit the insurance claim with any required documentation on the patient’s behalf. Any reimbursement by the insurance company will be mailed to the member/subscriber directly from the insurance company. We are happy to submit pre-authorizations to insurance to better estimate the reimbursement you may receive.

Please bring your insurance information with you to the consultation so that we can expedite reimbursement.
